“ Fantastic sandwiches from a fantastic man. Danny keeps himself very busy running the deli by himself. But it is well worth any detour, you may be making. Danny is incredibly friendly and makes recommendations, but never forces anything on you. He has a great big smile on his face that makes you want to smile. The food he makes is beyond amazing, everything is fresh cut that day and each sandwich/wrap/pizza is made with care. (Picture depicts #7 Pastrami on Sourdough with no Tomato or onion) Note: Ignore the mess in the picture, that was caused by me first picking up and placing the sandwich down rapidly. Because I had forgotten to take a picture. The sandwich was served well put together ”
“ The sandwiches and service live up to the hype! I got an italian and it was perfect. These sandwiches are HUGE - easily a full meal for two people. Danny is so nice. Worth every penny and an incredible deal for the amount of food, all sandwiches come with mac or potato salad & lots of pickles and pepperoncinis . ”
“ Talk about a hidden GEM. This place is amazing! We were undecided on what to order, Danny was slinging out amazing looking sandwiches & then the pizza came out of the oven and had to try it. Glad I did. However sandwiches are next on the list. Talk about a deal! These sandwiches are huge! Then I had to try the cheese cake. You may look at it and wonder strawberries AND jalapeños and thing “how does this work” now I’m not a scientist so I can’t explain it but WOW DOES IT WORK! It is a little bit sweet and a little bit spicy but 100% delicious. Then there’s Danny what a cool guy. Man is a salesman, tourist guide, and just all round nice guy. Up beat and proud of his community. Danny was able to steer us to go check out cool places in the area and we are looking forward to our stay down the street. ”

Both times I’ve been I’ve experienced nothing but great service and amazing food! I decided to try the chicken bacon ranch salad but jacumé style it was perfect I’ll be back guaranteed Not to mention the little side of macaroni or potato salad I highly recommend stopping in and trying anything on the menu, you will not be disappointed ”
“ I know there are not a lot of other options to dine - but I actually was really happy to have my pizza before our stay at the Jacumba. I had seen the reviews and I wanted to try the pizza. I would say the Meat Lovers (with some additions) was better than the Chicken Bacon Ranch but both were super yummy. The woman taking orders was so friendly and was managing quite a few orders at the same time. Do remember, the pizza takes time so it is not like they have it ready. Everything is made to order! ”
